So it’s clearly been kind of a slow news year for Slider Pines. Yes, shows were played, songs were written, babies were born (ok, just one baby, that we know of), and we rehearsed. Good god, did we rehearse. All good things, these. But a slow news year nevertheless. And idleness begets restlessness, even for a band that in 5 years has released a full-length album and an EP, which according to our latest sales figures at least 50 of you have enjoyed (thanks!!)

In the life of every band there inevitably comes a time to shit or get off the pot, so to speak. To either go down swinging, or fade away into the cut out bin of local-band nostalgia (”oh yeah, they were a cool band! I never saw them though.”)

This will not be another slow news year for us. New songs, new sounds, new ideas, new recordings, new projects. News.
